Robyn Lesser, DMD
Dr. Robyn is a native of Clearwater, Florida, and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her DMD from the University of Florida with honors in research. She also completed her pediatric residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Lesser is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has been recognized by Tampa Bay Magazine as a top pediatric dentist in Tampa Bay. Dr. Lesser is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association®, the Florida Dental Association and the Hillsborough County Dental Association. She is also a member of Florida Blue Key and is currently president of Pedo Gators, the pediatric dental alumni association for the University of Florida. Dr. Lesser is a Fellow of the AAPD who contributes above and beyond in the field of pediatric and organized dentistry.Dr. Lesser enjoys volunteering in the schools to help educate children on good oral health. She has been in private practice in Tampa since 2002. When she is not working, she is busy with her husband, Gene, and two daughters, Sasha and Mila.
Rebecca Pikos DMD

Dr. Rebecca, a board-certified pediatric dentist, is a native of South Carolina. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of South Carolina and was inducted into the most prestigious academic honor society, Phi Beta
Kappa. Following her undergraduate studies, she attended The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. It was there that she received her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society representing the top students in the graduating class.
After graduation, Dr. Rebecca completed a 1-year General Practice Residency in Columbia, SC at Palmetto Health Hospital. She then pursued a pediatric dental residency at The University of Alabama Birmingham in Birmingham, AL.
Dr. Rebecca received her certificate in pediatric dentistry and was the one resident to undergo extensive training with the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program at Civitan Sparks Center. This training aims to provide long-term, graduate level interdisciplinary training as well as interdisciplinary services and care for individuals with disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Pinellas County Dental Association. When Dr. Rebecca is not working, she can be found playing with her dogs, spending time with her family, exercising, or enjoying the outdoors.
Shana
Practice Administrator
Shana has worked with Dr. Lesser since the opening of Smile Builders Pediatric Dentistry. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University. She is originally from Toledo, Ohio, and but moved to Florida at age 9, so she pretty much considers herself a Floridian! When not at work, she enjoys time with her husband and son, going to movies, shopping, swimming, traveling, and cheering on the New York Giants and Florida Gators. She also loves going to Orlando to visit the parks. Her favorite food is sushi! She enjoys helping provide a warm, positive experience for children and families when they come to the dentist.
Stacey
Appointment Coordinator
Stacey is the warm and friendly face you will see at the front desk in our Dunedin office! Stacey brings over 20 years of customer service experience and is dedicated to making sure our patients and families have a comfortable and positive experience. Stacey is originally from Tallahassee but has lived in the East Lake area for over 10 years. She is married to her wonderful husband Jim, and has 2 great college-age kids who are Florida Gators. She also has 2 dogs, a cat, and a bunny! When she is not at work, Stacey enjoys spending time with her family, friends, bike rides, and loves sunsets at the beach!
Keona
Dental Assistant
Keona brings over 5 years’ experience as a dental assistant and completed her training at the Ultimate Medical Academy. She is born and raised in Tampa, Florida! Keona has 4 kids, all girls! She also has one dog named Koko! Keona enjoys shopping, especially Sephora, because she loves makeup! She is definitely a foodie and loves trying new restaurants. Her favorite cuisine is Italian! One her favorite vacation memories was a trip to New Orleans but one day would love to visit Hawaii! Keona’s goal at Smile Builders Pediatric Dentistry is making kids comfortable and helping them take pride in their smile!
Cherish
Dental Assistant
Cherish grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida but now lives right here in Dunedin! She has one son named Messiah. She loves traveling, and one day would love to go to Iceland! Cherish goes to NYC a couple of times throughout the year and enjoys the hustle and bustle of the big city! She loves taking Messiah to the aquarium and going in the pool. Her favorite food is pasta and oxtails. Cherish loves being a dental assistant so she can make kids smile and show them that the dentist can be lots of fun!
